The 4Cs of your diamond

Carat: 2,03

"Carat" is the internationally recognised unit in which the weight of a diamond or gemstone is measured. One carat corresponds to exactly 200 milligrams or 0.2 grams. Accordingly, a 5-carat diamond weighs 1 gram. The diamond of your choice weighs 2,03 carats and measures approx. 8.10 - 8.13 x 5.02 mm.

Colour: F

Diamonds of colour grade "F" according to the GIA colour scale are part of the top-rated "colourless" category. There are only two colour grades ahead of them, "E" and "D", making this diamond the third best of all possible colour grades. Of all the premium colour grades, colour grade "F" or "fine white" is the cheapest.

Clarity: VVS1

Diamonds of clarity grade "VVS1" have only tiny inclusions, which are extremely difficult to detect even under 10x magnification. The inclusions only have a minimal effect on the brilliance and value of the diamond, as they are usually located on the edge – generally invisible to the naked eye. VVS1 diamonds are therefore still considered to be particularly pure.

Cut:

The cut of a diamond determines the brilliance, i.e. how strongly a diamond sparkles. The cut is therefore not, as is often confused, the shape of the stone. The cut quality is determined on the basis of three criteria: Polish (polish), symmetry (symmetry) and the cut proportions. For some cut shapes, the "cut grade" value also counts. If a diamond is cut too shallow or deep, it loses brilliance due to fewer reflections on the side facets. The diamond you have selected is labelled with Polish , Symmetry Excellent, and has the Shape Round.
