The 4Cs of your diamond

"Carat" is the internationally recognised unit in which the weight of a diamond or gemstone is measured. One carat corresponds to exactly 200 milligrams or 0.2 grams. Accordingly, a 5-carat diamond weighs 1 gram. The diamond of your choice weighs 4,12 carats and measures approx. 10.22 - 10.26 x 6.34 mm.

For fancy coloured diamonds, the intensity of the colouring is divided into nine levels. "Fancy Intense" s the sixth of the nine intensity levels, in which the colour is particularly pronounced. Cut

The cut of a diamond determines the brilliance, i.e. how strongly a diamond sparkles. The cut is therefore not, as is often confused, the shape of the stone. The cut quality is determined on the basis of three criteria: Polish (polish), symmetry (symmetry) and the cut proportions. For some cut shapes, the "cut grade" value also counts. If a diamond is cut too shallow or deep, it loses brilliance due to fewer reflections on the side facets.
