Responsibility that keeps growing
Sustainability for us does not end with the way our diamonds grow. Responsibility also means creating opportunities for education, community, and future generations. That is why, since our founding, we have supported the EarthChild Project in South Africa. The organization accompanies children and young people with educational programs that combine mindfulness, environmental awareness, and practical skills.
The EarthChild Project
The non-profit organization, founded in 2007 by Janna Kretzmar, supports under-resourced schools with programs and free classes. But not in math, English, or physics: in the Earthchild Project, committed volunteers teach students to treat the environment with respect, eat healthily, and care for themselves and one another with love. The curriculum includes yoga and meditation, organic gardening, nature connection, mindfulness, and values education.

Growing the future together
In 2023 we supported the creation of an EarthChild classroom: a space dedicated to learning, development and new perspectives. In 2025 this partnership grew into a new project: the Yomelela Primary Food Garden. Together with EarthChild e.V. and Urban Harvest, unused school grounds were transformed into an organically managed garden and a green classroom. The freshly harvested vegetables and herbs can supply the school meals for more than 1,000 children. At the same time, the children actively learn about water, energy, waste, biodiversity and the responsible use of natural resources.

What connects Nevermined with the Earthchild Project are shared values. In addition to our ecological footprint, it is especially important to us to leave a mark through our social responsibility. At every step of producing our Nevermined lab-grown diamonds, we keep our values in mind. Sustainable materials, environmentally friendly production, and fair working conditions are a matter of course for us.
