General information
Nevermined stands for sustainable, transparent and conflict-free diamond production. As one of the first manufacturers of lab-grown diamonds in Germany, we are committed to ethical and environmental standards to help create a sustainable future for the jewellery industry.
Environmentally-friendly production with renewable energies and fair working conditions are a matter of course for us and are part of our corporate culture. We are aware that 100% perfection is not achievable, but we are constantly striving to get as close as possible to a sustainable future.

Nevermined was founded in 2021 to offer a sustainable alternative to conventional and conflict-ridden diamond production. Our founders, Christine Marhofer and Michael Marhofer, firmly believe that sustainability and luxury can go hand in hand and set themselves the task of revolutionising diamond production.
Our factory is located in Essen, Germany, in the heart of the Ruhr region. This is where we produce lab-grown diamonds of maximum clarity and quality under fair and transparent conditions.
Our lab-grown diamonds
Yes, lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds and are in no way inferior to natural diamonds. They have the same chemical composition, crystal structure and visual properties as natural diamonds, but they are grown in the laboratory under controlled and fair conditions, making them a sustainable alternative.
Our lab-grown diamonds are grown using the CVD (chemical vapour deposition) process in special facilities. Carbon atoms are deposited from a gas phase onto a diamond substrate to form real diamonds.
The 4 Cs are criteria for determining diamond quality. These are recorded using a corresponding certificate: Carat, Colour, Clarity and Cut. At Nevermined, all diamonds are evaluated and certified according to these criteria to ensure the highest quality and authenticity.
Compared to mined diamonds, lab-grown diamonds avoid the negative effects of mining such as environmental destruction and social conflicts caused by inhumane working conditions, for instance. In addition, the diamonds grown in our laboratory enable short delivery routes, minimise the environmental footprint and offer an ethically conflict-free alternative.
We are constantly striving to make our production more sustainable, taking steps such as covering our energy requirements exclusively using renewable sources and further optimising our supply chains. Although we're on the right track, there is always room for improvement.
We certify all our nevermined diamonds from 0.5 carats. We are happy to re-measure or certify certain diamonds on request. Please use our contact form for this purpose.
Sustainability
At Nevermined, the rough diamonds are grown using the CVD process at our factory in Essen, Germany. We use certified green electricity and prioritise short delivery routes to ensure sustainable and transparent production.
We are constantly working on improvements to our production and supply chain to help us become even more sustainable. This includes the use of renewable energies, the reduction of waste and emissions and the promotion of fair working conditions along our entire value chain.
Yes, it's hugely important to us at Nevermined that we ensure our diamonds are produced ethically, conflict-free and under fair working conditions. With our local production in Germany and our transparent supply chains, we can offer 100% certainty about the origin of our diamonds.
Order and payment
Orders can usually be dispatched within 2-3 days if the product is in stock. Shipping time may vary due to the customs regulations of individual countries and are not subject to our influence.
The Nevermined Shop is aimed exclusively at B2B customers and specialists from the jewellery industry, such as goldsmiths, jewellers, stone setters, jewellery producers and others. Unfortunately, private customers cannot order directly from us. If you are a B2B customer and have any questions or require support, our customer service team will be happy to assist you.
You may of course pre-order a diamond from us at any time on request. Just use the contact form. As soon as the desired diamond is available, we will inform you by e-mail.
Customer account details can be changed at any time. Please note, however, that the change can only be taken into account for subsequent orders.
Cancellation and subsequent changes are unfortunately no longer possible once the order has been placed. However, it is possible to return the order. You can find more information on this under "Returns & exchanges".
The status of the order can be viewed at any time on the Nevermined customer account in the "Orders" tab.
The shop accepts credit card, PayPal, direct debit and purchase on account as payment methods.
Our Nevermined diamonds are available in different price categories. The Nevermined Shop is aimed exclusively at B2B customers. Log in to our B2B shop to view the retail prices.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping is free of charge for orders over €100. For orders under 100€ we charge a shipping fee of 20€ for insured shipping.
Delivery is by express delivery with DHL or UPS.
Yes, the parcel is always sent insured with UPS or DHL. Furthermore, for security reasons, the parcel must be signed for by the client.
If this happens, please contact Nevermined customer service right away. We will need the relevant order and/or invoice number for verification. You can contact our customer service by telephone (+ 49 2054 800 39 50) or using the contact form on our website.
Return and exchange
If something isn't right with your order, you have the option of exchanging or returning it, providing the contents are intact and in their original packaging. You can use the contact form to send us your request, including the order and/or invoice number.
Upon receipt of the return, we will check the order as quickly as possible and arrange a refund via the selected payment method.
