The 4Cs of your diamond

"Carat" is the internationally recognised unit in which the weight of a diamond or gemstone is measured. One carat corresponds to exactly 200 milligrams or 0.2 grams. Accordingly, a 5-carat diamond weighs 1 gram. The diamond of your choice weighs 1,24 carats and measures approx. 6.82 - 6.86 x 4.28 mm.

Colour: K

Diamonds with a GIA colour grade of "K" are tinted, which gives them a slightly yellowish or brownish hue. This can even be seen in a jewellery setting. Diamonds of colour grade K according to the IGI are recommended if you prefer warmer colours or want to maximise the size of your diamond.

Cut

The cut of a diamond determines the brilliance, i.e. how strongly a diamond sparkles. The cut is therefore not, as is often confused, the shape of the stone.
